Associate Project Manager

​Salary Range $60,000 - $65,000

If you are a Civil Engineer or a junior Project Manager looking to grow your career rapidly on the project management side of the commercial construction business - this may be a terrific opportunity for you.

Here's an opportunity to work for a western Pennsylvania based commercial construction firm with an impeccable reputation in a real family oriented atmosphere. They are involved in both ground up and renovation work with a focus on projects from $500,000-$10 million.

This position will utilize your engineering skills and drive your career path into Project Management while you support the engineering and management staff in the review of project designs and field supervision working along side the client's seasoned PM's providing the training and guidance you need to rapidly advance in the business.

Professional Responsibilities
  • Participate in project completion from design through construction
  • Provide support to senior personnel in preparing the design drawings and/or reports
  • Support Construction and Design/Build Technical Manager in the development, design, and construction of large scale facilities and infrastructure for the private, public and federal sectors
  • Assist our construction field managers in oversight of contractors' work
  • Support the project team to produce project deliverables and to reach milestones
  • Responsible for assisting in the subcontractor (sub) admin activities throughout the life cycle of each assigned construction project
  • Develop familiarity with principals of subcontract admin with regard to Fed Acquisition Regs and contractual requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with 1 to 3 yrs experience
  • Software proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera P6, and Suretrack
  • Experience in ground up and renovation projects in commercial and light industrial is desired
  • Knowledge in the use of CAD programs
