We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated QA Engineer to help ensure the quality of the company's applications on mobile, VR, and venues as well. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical and business teams to plan, develop and maintain automated tests and develop best practices and automation roadmaps. Responsibilities
- Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain software test plans and automation involving one or more product components and features.
- Modify/extend test cases to accommodate feature releases
- Develop test solutions, scripts, and tools to reduce manual effort, audit components, or improve feature quality.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and isolate bugs to help developers research the root cause of defects
- Analyze change requests and provide recommendations on how change might impact test scope and product behavior
Pivotal Experience, Expertise & Personal Characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of the software development process
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Javascript, Typescript, Rust, Python)
- Knowledge of software-testing techniques and software-testing life cycle
- Experience with testing technologies (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JavaScript, JUnit, TestNG, and other open-source tools)
- Experience in four core software-testing techniques: 1) equivalence class partitioning, 2) boundary value testing; 3) verifying each requirement; and 4) state transition.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload to meet required deadlines
- Experience testing windows applications
- Experience testing hardware
- Experience testing video streaming
- Experience writing automation tests
